RPS is engaged in manufacturing from biodegradable medical polymer to finished product or component.

Polymerization
A biodegradable polymer with an optimal set of characteristics can be selected from a catalog or synthesized to order. Careful control of the polymerization process and quality control of the finished polymer guarantees the biocompatibility of the material and its compliance with international standards for use in medicine and pharmaceuticals.
Compounding
Polymers can be mixed with various additives to improve their properties, provide radiopacity and other purposes.
Manufacturing of the product
Depending on the design of the product and the requirements for it, the following processing methods can be used: injection molding, extrusion, freeze drying, 3D printing, etc.
Modification and processing
Special coatings can be applied to a medical device to improve its surface properties, hydrophilicity, etc.
Packaging and labeling
All our materials and components are labeled from raw materials to finished products and contain batch and property information. Biodegradable materials are sensitive to destruction under the influence of atmospheric moisture. Careful drying and the use of multilayer packaging eliminates degradation during storage.
Sterilization
We work with partners to sterilize materials and products with ethylene oxide (including low temperature cycles), gamma or beta irradiation, and can coordinate and support validation for various products.
