Fibers and sutures

Polymer fibers are used in the manufacture of sutures, bioabsorbable meshes, woven stents and various types of biomedical woven materials. The fibers and sutures are designed using advanced bioresorbable materials to promote healing and do not require repeated surgery to remove.
MONOFILAMENTS
Consist of a single fiber with a diameter of more than 100 microns. The process of fiber orientation improves their mechanical properties, dimensional stability and flexibility. Monofilaments are used in various fields of medicine.
MICROFIBERS
Consist of a single fiber, the diameter of which does not exceed 100 microns. The process of fiber orientation improves their mechanical properties, dimensional stability and flexibility. Microfibers are used to produce meshes, braided threads and other medical products.
MULTIFILAMENT THREADS
Consist of a large number of microfibers and are often subjected to an orientation process to improve mechanical properties. They are used as components of mesh structures and other medical products.
Polymer Tubes
Melt extruded tubing comes in a variety of diameters and wall thicknesses and can be used to make stents and other devices. Additional thermomechanical treatment improves mechanical characteristics.
Films
Films with a thickness of 50 to 500 microns can be used as anti-adhesive materials, as well as components of transdermal drug delivery systems.
Microspheres
Microspheres are used in dermal fillers, in the creation of sustained-release drug systems, in tissue engineering and other fields. We offer a wide range of biodegradable polymer microspheres with diameters ranging from 0.1 to 80 microns and a narrow size distribution.
Materials for 3D printing and bioprinting
Fibers (rods) with a diameter of 1.75 mm based on medical grade lactide polymers are used for the manufacture of individual biodegradable medical products using the FDM printing method. Granular polymers can be used in bioprinting technology.
